Snow in Seattle? Hooray! For the past few days they've been talking snow on the weather report, but I usually don't give that too much credit, because whenever I believe them, we get nothing. But this afternoon, beginning around 1 pm, it started snowing! The streets didn't get too bad, and other cars that we saw slowed down, so I wasn't nervous about an accident (because of course, I was driving the Prius). I've been enjoying this winter wonderland while it lasts. The temperature has already gone up, so it doesn't look like the snow will last much longer, but I sure do like the snow on the ground and a warm fire in the fire place!
This afternoon we went to see Katie's choir kids perform at Wallingford center. They did a great job, and I bought a ball of yarn at the yarn shop.
