Bean!

Tonight Bean's impending arrival was announced to the world via Facebook. So now everyone can feel free to talk at will.

This afternoon we had our first visit to the midwives at UW. Our previous visit was with the OB that we were referred to. She was very very nice, but it felt like overkill. So today we checked out the midwives. We met the first one (of the 5 that we will meet throughout the course of the pregnancy, so that we'll know whomever delivers the baby). She was really nice and without us even asking gave all of the answers we wanted to hear, so unless something changes, we've got our prenatal needs squared away.

Tonight I am doing massive amounts of laundry. It's odd to wash pants that are clean (having only been worn once), but when going on a vacation, we need as many wears out of our clothes as we can get, so into the wash they went...a much larger wash day than usual. But it's almost time for fun in the sun!
