On Sunday, August 15th, we participated in the Danskin triathlon. This year, due to a summer full of travel and The Bean, we decided to do a relay. Katie did the swim, I did the bike, and my mom, Katie, and I did the walk. Team Bean was rather like the tortoise in "The Tortoise and the Hare" because we were slow, but kept on putting along through the 90-some degree heat.
Even The Bean participated in the number marking.
