I think that so far, Valentine's day is my FAVORITE day to be at school! It was tons of fun. I got lots of cards and treats and just had a generally fun day. I think that next year I will also really like Halloween, which wasn't as much fun this year because I still didn't know many kids by the time it came around.
One more day of teaching before mid-winter break! Hooray!
Mom and dad gave me a full set of 14 sets of 7" double pointed knitting needles and a box of truffles for Katie and I to share. And I got a card from Grandma. Katie would like it to be known that her card from Grandma was far superior to the card from her grandma, because it contained $5, not a mangled magazine page telling you how to protect yourself from identity theft. Tonight Katie and I went out for fajitas and she gave me some yummy little fruity heart candies and some "monkeys" which are monkey covers to put on your keys. They're quite cute!
