Stars on Ice was great! We were right on the ice. So close that we were sprayed by the skaters' ice chips and mom and I both got high fives from Ilia Kulik! Thankfully Katie thought ahead and brought a blanket, because it was a bit chilly down by the ice, even with our winter coats. And we some very tasty pizza and salad beforehand at Pagliacci's.
Today we went to Costco and bought some extravagences in addition to what we actually needed. The new towels could be considered to be part of either category, depending upon how you look at it. And I definately think that the Belgian dark chocolate hearts were on the needs list.
In other news, our toilet is acting up. What is frustrating is that it is for no apparent reason (though I suppose it's possible that Katie has some seriously powerful pee). Hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow, since Katie just filled out the paper work that lets them enter the apartment to do the fixing.
Tonight we went to see The Great Debaters which is FANTASTIC! Everyone should go see it. I used 2 movie vouchers that I got for Christmas, which was wonderful, because night time movies are obscenely expensive.
