Tonight's debate was great! Biden did a great job and managed to stay composed even in light of Sarah Palin saying virtually NOTHING the whole night and only answering 1 question clearly and directly: the follow up question about whether or not she supports gay marriage. As if we didn't all already know her opinion on that one! And I loved how Biden had all of the facts to counter her blabbering. However, as the evening wore on, I really started wondering if she has some sort of language processing or communication disorder, because she would go on and on, talking around things and not actually making any clear points, kind of like she wasn't really sure of what she was saying. It reminded me a lot of a number of students that I work with who have language processing disorders.
Katie and I watched the debate with Julie (who lives across the street from Mom and Dad) and a few of her friends. Grace (who is 3.5 years old) didn't think much of the debate, but she did enjoy the pizza, pop, doritos, and peanut m&ms!
