90 degrees? Are you serious?

This rat (outside of our apartment) died sometime today. He's decomposing quickly in the 90 degree heat.

For the third night in a row we have refused to cook due to extreme heat and a desire to try to keep our tiny apartment as cool as possible. So off to Costco we went, but we didn't want junk food from the deli, so we got a tub of the rotisserie chicken salad, a thing of the sweet rolls, and a tub of blueberries. Back at home, while watching some Netflix, we had a small picnic, making little chicken sandwiches on the rolls. It was very tasty. I plan to have one in the morning before heading out to field day!
