Thursdays we have "craft night", so on Sunday we had "home day". We got quite a few little projects done: working on helping the bathroom drains clear more quickly, hanging some framed pictures in the bedroom, prepping to wire some electricity to the bottom of the basement stairs, removing the trap door in the sunroom and putting up a temporary railing while we prep for the real deal. We bought wood and planed it in Grampa's planer, which is a really cool, really dangerous machine!
On Monday, Grampa made his first pilgrimage to our new house. It was fun. He toured the sunroom, kitchen/dining room, and living room. He also set to work on designing our sunroom railing! Yeah! He has promised to visit again to witness the progress of our house.
