Mid-winter break has been nice. On Tuesday (Grampa's 84th birthday), Katie and I went to the Science Center with my friend Josie. Katie and I got a Science Center membership over Christmas vacation and it's certainly paid off already. One of our favorite exhibits is the butterfly room. We also checked out the new Mars exhibit, which was really cool, but there were so many kids there we didn't get to do as many of the activities as we would have liked to have done.
After 2 hours of fun at the Science Center, we went back to Josie's, where she taught us Speed Scrabble: a fun variation on scrabble that is totally different than just setting a timer; you don't use a board at all!
