Staying Busy this Summer

Summer vacation is only a week away.  This will be our third summer with Frances, but the first summer where I feel like we need ACTIVITIES and PLANS to make it fun, memorable, and relaxing.

Ideas:

• make peanut butter playdough
• make mini pizzas
• dig a giant hole in the sand/dirt
• walk to the library
• participate in summer reading (all 3 of us)
• make homemade popsicles
• make bubble goop and assorted wands
• (buy and then) run through the sprinkler
• go on a picnic
• have a scavenger hunt (for colors, numbers, letters)
• build a fort
• go to the zoo/aquarium/science center
• make stone soup
• make green eggs and ham
• make a Seattle play mat
• go berry picking
• swim in the lake
• make jello jigglers
