Teacher Appreciation Week!

This is teacher appreciation week and boy is it great! On Monday the PTA greeted us with custom-made smoothies (we filled out an order form on Friday). Today they provided us with lunch: salad, tamales, papusas, assorted beverages, and 3 kinds of dessert (1 was a chocolate tres leches cake). It was really good; I felt quite appreciated. They did a raffle drawing in the afternoon and so this afternoon as I was leaving, the PTA president let me know that she'd dropped off a potted flower in my room that I'd won in the drawing! Tomorrow morning Sandra is providing us with a barista who will serve beverages and assorted pastries! I can't wait!
