I am happy to report that I arrived home today at 4 pm! It's been a very busy week. Tuesday night I stayed at school until about 5:30 for the IEP meeting, which went very well. Yesterday I didn't leave until 6 for the conference of one of my students (because her teacher asked me to stay for it).
Conference weeks are strange because the day is very disrupted. Since every grade adjusted their schedule differently, nothing aligns well and I wind up with small disjointed chunks of time with my students. Luckily, that means more time for planning and catching up on things.
And the exercise ball has been working pretty well for Alexis. She sat through all of class with little distraction. Hopefully it keeps working.
