I completed the neatest teacher project I've done so far: a map of the US with removable velcro state pieces! It turned out really nicely. I'd like to say "I can't wait to take it to school," but I can, because I don't have to go to school tomorrow! I (hopefully) have a sub coming, and I am going with Trisha (my mentor) to visit some other schools. I will go by school tomorrow night though, because it's multicultural night!
Today was really long. We had a 2 hour staff meeting (gag me) and after that I had to finish getting ready for tomorrow. I didn't leave school until after 6:30 (bleh), so it was a Dick's night. Thankfully, there was nearly no wait, the people were friendly, and the food was fresh and tasty (unlike Emily and Neil's lousy trip to DQ in Anchorage). I've given myself permission to be lazy for the rest of the evening, because after all, I don't have to work tomorrow!
Mmmm...Dicks sounds delicious. We'll have to go there when I come home, which isn't too far from now!
ReplyDeleteMmmm...I will definately go with you. It's a rare treat, but tonight (when I was exhausted and couldn't bear the thought of figuring out what to cook and Katie was working on projects), I decided it was a good idea.
