Olive's Dress

I knit a dress for Katie's principal Kelly's dog Olive. Isn't she cute? Kelly said she typically dislikes having clothes on, but when he put the dress on her she trotted around the house like there was nothing on her! I guess that's what quality does to a dog. It had to be custom made (by altering the pattern) because Olive is a bit pudgy since Daddy Kelly feeds her too many treats!

  1. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen! (aside from conservapedia)

  2. There would be 3 problems for knitting Banjo a dress:

    1. He is a boy...but perhaps a kilt would do...he does have scottish roots on his mother's side, after all.

    2. I am not paid enough to afford that much yarn.

    3. Dogs have, when compared to both human lifespans and the rate at which humans knit, relatively short lives...I don't know that I could finish before he would need me to knit a funeral shroud instead.

  3. Why are you already counting down Banjo's numbered days? He hasn't even reached his first birthday.

  4. He also hasn't stopped growing! His growth rate is faster than my knitting rate, after all!
