Do the Puyallup

The fair was great! Of course, we started off with the requisite Fisher scone, complete with raspberry jam. Oh so tasty. And just before we left we picked up a few for ourselves and Grandma and Grampa for breakfast.

The first think that Katie and I saw at the fair was "Mutton Bustin'", where kids 6 years old and under and under 60 lbs try to hang onto a sheep for as long as possible. It was really funny to watch. Little kids were falling off everywhere!

We had a great time looking around at all of the animals and produce and baked goods and stuff for sale, but the only things we bought were things to eat (like my lovely caramel apple). We also discovered that if you go to the fair during the first weekend, the produce and baked goods are all still fresh: no mold in sight!
