Just when Dad is completely indisposed, what happens? The toilet starts leaking, of course! The floater stopped floating; it stopped shutting off the water that refills the tank. Luckily, Julie knew how to fix the problem. In fact, Dad had helped her replace other components of her toilet the day they left for Jamaica. It took a few hours (from when Mom noticed the problem until Julie bought the parts and completed the repairs), but the toilet is now back to being good as new. We aren't going to tell Dad until he's home from the hospital though.
