This morning we docked in Juneau just before 11 am. After a quick lunch at the Wind Jammer buffet we went ashore to meet our zip lining tour group. They drove us about 20 minutes up into the mountains to a place that is a ski resort in the winter and a zip lining course in the summer.
The zip line course was made up of 5 lines and a rope bridge. It was really fun. One nice thing was that they let us bring our cameras with us on the course.
However, when Katie tried to take a picture of me, I looked microscopic.
After our adventure, we toured downtown Juneau. It didn’t take much time to see it all, so it’s a good thing we spent the morning zip lining. I bought some cute sterling silver earrings with bear paws cut out of them.
We got back to the ship just in time for dinner. It was nice to be so hungry for a meal! Oh yes, and after visiting a glacier (which was reportedly beautiful), one of the people at our table made it quite clear that he thinks that global warming is ridiculous. Hmm…
A towel swan.
That looks like fun!
