My week turned out great. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday were good. Unfortunately the math program they're making me use (Everyday Math) is a joke. It isn't designed for special education and there has been no support in how to use it, but I sent off a letter to my consulting teacher, her supervisor (who I talked to yesterday and who told me to write it) and my principal. We'll see what happens. My hope is that they'll let me get a special ed math program or help me track one down within the district. Essentially, my hope is that they wil allow me to use something other than the "curriculum that has been adopted by the district".
Tomorrow night my mom and dad are going to Jamaica. That means I get to drive the Prius! Hooray! I've told my mom that by the time she gets home, the car will have a name.
